Indifference
From the collection of divided and joined pieces. The twin chairs were part of a commission for Hailo at Somerset House.
The twin chairs with integrated table and lamp is less of a love seat and more a chair of slight indifference. The chairs are covered in 'Memory' from Kvadrat, designed by Patricia Urquiola. In Patricia's words, "The subtle irregularities
in the surface remind of a beautifully aged material." Perfect for retaining an antique feel whilst complying with fire regulations! Deep buttoned using brass studs from a selection at the Button Queen. Additional legs were turned by master wood turner, Maurice. Spun brass coasters have been inlaid into the Georgian table and the addition of a table lamp brings a slight sense of romance to the arch.
